My Railway Group D Interview Experience

After clearing the written exam and document verification, the physical efficiency test was the part I was most anxious about. Here's what actually happened and what I wish I'd known beforehand.

The PET round involved running a fixed distance within a set time limit. I had trained for this for two months beforehand with a simple routine: short daily runs building up distance gradually, rather than trying to sprint the full distance from day one. That gradual build-up is what got me through comfortably on the actual day.

Document verification was straightforward but strict about originals plus photocopies of every certificate, so I organised everything into a single folder weeks in advance rather than scrambling the night before.

My biggest tip: read the official notification's PET requirements carefully and train specifically for those numbers, not a generic fitness routine. The exact distance and time limit matter more than general fitness level.
